Who has the green thumb?

The weather has been wonderful here so we are taking full advantage of it. Jake is so excited that school is out for summer that he thought he would engulf himself in gardening. On Saturday we went to Ace Hardware, thinking of you dad, and purchased a hoe, shovel, rake, and top soil to get our garden going.


Nolan loved getting in to the dirt. It is a kids paradise! He was using his hands to act like he was raking. And the whole time Jake was using the hoe Nolan kept laughing. I don't know why he thought it was so funny but he was loving it. You gotta love the funny picture I snapped on Nolan totally digging for gold up his nose. This has been his new thing lately. Pretty gross!




































All our neighbors are doing the same thing. It is a gardening neighborhood. I can't wait to see what the end product will give us. We are going to plant zucchini, peppers, onions, tomatoes, cucumbers, and some pees. It will be great! I can't wait to taste it.
We are actually having a gardening party tonight with a bbq along with it to kick off our summer. I love summer! It has finally been warm enough to wear shorts and not have a coat. Finally, since it is June already!
