1st year of Med School is DONE!!!!

Jake is officially finished with his first year of medical school!!!! I am so proud of him for working so hard. He did great in all of his classes. It is nice for this to be under our belt and move on to the next. People weren't kidding when they said school will just fly by. I can't believe Jake will be starting his second year in August! Yeah!
I'm so excited for this summer for Jake to have it off, other than doing his research. The nice thing is he won't have to worry about studying at all! We can just enjoy our time together. And we are in need of some good family time!
We decided to have a big celebration with our M1 friends. We went to Outback Steakhouse. We ate until we almost popped. The food was amazing and the company was even better. I don't think I have laughed so hard in a long time. It was nice to finally get out of the house for a change. I have needed as well as Jake. We have made some awesome friends out here. From the left to the right is Dave and Kelsey, Phil and Tiff, Judd and Haley, and at the bottom is Richard and Jenny. We love our friends so much and can't wait to celebrate again with them. Three more times baby!
