Today's the day! HaPpY bIrThDaY Jake!

Today is Jake's Birthday!!! Yeah! First off, I got up earlier than normal to make him a breakfast of champions. He was served hash browns, eggs, bacon, and apple juice. That is his kind of breakfast. Then I gave him his presents, which were a new pair of jeans and a new shirt. (which he is wearing in the picture, can't really tell) Then poor Jake was off to school to study all day. He has test week starting Monday so he has been studying like crazy this whole week. I feel bad for him. I don't think I have ever known Jake having a birthday not on a test or close to. A man can dream right?
Tonight is going to be a special treat. Because Jake won't get home until later we can't go out to eat. So I decided to make the Cafe Rio pulled pork salad. I hope it turns out just like the restaurant. Oh, how I miss that place. I can taste it right now. Mmmm! Then we will of course watch LOST! We can't miss a show. Most likely after that he will go back to studying. I'm sure we will be able to go out to dinner either Friday or Saturday night after he is done studying for the day. I feel bad that his Birthday weeks aren't as good as mine. He always has something stressful going on.
