Helping daddy the best he can

Jake finally is done with his tests and we are in to his spring break! First thing on our list was to get a new TV since ours has been dying since we moved here. Our TV has a mind of its own. One of the things wrong with it is on NBC it decides to just be black and white. Not so good, since some of our favorite shows were on that station. Another thing is, it tends to make this annoying ringing noise whenever it is on. Nolan hates it. He will start to cry if it does it for too long. So with just those two things we decided that it was time.
We have to admit that we have been lucky to have it for so long. My parents gave it to us when we got married and they had it for about 15 years before that. So this TV was about 20 or more years old.
We got the new TV and we love it. It is a beauty!! And we have at least five more channels. Yeah!!! You know how Nolan has been sick? Well, that didn't stop him from wanting to help his dad put it all together. Ever since Jake was done with his tests Nolan has been inseparable from his daddy. I'm starting to get a little jealous. He wants nothing to do with me. I'll let it slide only because Nolan hasn't seen his dad for about two weeks. It is petty cute to see those two hang out together. I love it!
