Oh, Chicago!! We had quite an interesting trip. Between the drunk man seeing visions of Jesus, the fight that broke out in the middle of the parade, the bright neon green river, the free shamrock necklaces, and the Irish whiskey banners, we had quite a day. Thanks Kim and Dan for showing us parts of Chicago that we haven't seen yet, surprisingly. I became insanely camera happy, as usual. The city seemed so fun that day. I couldn't believe how many people there were! Too crowded to even push a stroller through. I think they had every Irish Pub open with lines at every single on of them and tent parties if you couldn't get in to the pub's. St. Patrick's Day is an interesting holiday. From what we saw, it was just another excuse to get plowed and act like a idiot walking around in whatever green clothing you could find that day or from past generations.
Hey dad....did you know that the only way they would give us the Irish Whiskey banner was if we chugged a whole glass? Gotcha!!!!! Like we would ever do that. People were giving out so many things for free. We even got a mini leprechaun hat that said bud light on it for Nolan. Oh, such sweet memories.
