The first day of our trip back to Utah was so much fun. My mom had to work at the church history museum so my dad took off work and took us the the Tree House Museum. This is one of my favorite places.
The boys were non stop once we got in there. Nolan's thing is to run around the entire place and check everything out before he decides to sit down and play for awhile.
The funnest room for the Nolan was the music room. You could play all these different drums, run around, and make as much noise as possible without being told to be quiet. Perfect for my little Nolan.
Lukie's favorite room was the NICU. Interesting how fitting that is for him since he was in there for the first 10 days of his life.
It was pretty cute to see him try to do stuff to the little babies.
Another thing Lukie loved was to just be with his Grandpa Russell. He would walk around anywhere with my dad. I'm sure my dad's back was killing him by the end of the day.
Nolan was also loving the old fashion fire truck. He even put on the little outfit. But as you guessed it he wouldn't stop and smile for a picture. He was too busy to get to the next fun thing.
Do you all remember the safari car that Nolan played with back in June. Well, he found it again and played with it for a long time again!
My dad was also busy building and playing. He was trying to build a huge lego home and a lincoln log home as well. He didn't get very far because the boys were on to the next room.
After chasing Nolan around for what seemed like an eternity we finally got him to settle down to the computers and play a few games. He was laughing and laughing at this one game. Not even a cool one but he was sure happy.
And of course, I tried to get a shot of us on the cool fire truck. Not much luck with either of them looking. My boys are just too busy for pictures. We had a lot of fun. Thanks Grandpa for treating us to such a fun afternoon.
We did it! The year of walking!
