Wow! We were spoiled. Usually we have Christmas Eve at the Rabe's and only have a Christmas morning at my parents. When I woke up to get Lukie a bottle I came upstairs to see this! Can you believe it? Brad and Ann went above and beyond with this Christmas.
Nolan was so excited he could hardly contain himself. I got a pretty cute video of them all that I will upload some other time.
Nolan was given a car carrier diesel that he was dying over!!! Pretty much everyone knows that Nolan only wants to play with cars, trucks, or trains. He really could care less about anything else.
Lukie was given some sweet new tub toys. They were foam cars and trucks and streets that you put all around the tub. Nolan liked it as well. Also, Lukie got this blow-up lion that you fill with water at the bottom and then blow it up. It was a punching bag for Luke. Brad and Ann figured since Luke gets beat up pretty bad by Nolan he could take his aggression out on this lion. So cute!!! Nolan liked it a lot to. He was even pretty good at tackling the poor lion. Maybe this will be good for Luke and he won't get picked on as much. They were also given some darling jammies and some play dough. I can't believe how spoiled these kids were!!
And Santa didn't forget about us parents. He brought us Weber State shirts!!! We had been talking about how we don't have any Weber State stuff to show off our school. So lucky us, we now have them. Now when Montana plays Weber we can show our pride.
We were able to see what Brad and Ann got each other for Christmas. Brad was so excited this year because he thought he got the best gift ever! Awhile back Ann's wedding ring lost some diamonds and so she hasn't worn it since. So Brad went and purchased a new one that would take the place of her old one. We were all so excited and Ann had no clue that he was doing this.
So she opens it up and turns to Brad and says, "this isn't the one I wanted, but it's pretty." I about died. If you only knew how blunt Brad and Ann are with each other this wouldn't seem so shocking but I was laughing so hard. I guess that's what you get when you have been married for 30 years. It made my day. I love those two! Thanks for the wonderful first Christmas morning!!!!
