{trick-or-treating @ MCW}

I look forward to this every year. Nolan has such a great time. Funny thing about this kid is he could care less about all the candy, he is more about all the decorations. The whole time he was like, "look at that bIG spider!"

I think we got most original for costume choice. As you know from past posts that Nolan loves to run around in his underwear. (even though he is still in diapers) This was our inspirations for the costumes. Jake was totally in on it. He used his classic red long underwear and put a lightening bolt on his whitie tighties. I made the capes, well pretty much my friend Byrdie did. She's amazing. The whole costume cost us $6. Pretty sweet huh?
The whole time was a blast. We got the most looks for sure. People were laughing so hard at Jake. My two "CAPTAIN UNDERPANTS." They were so cute.
Throughout the trick-or-treating I kept getting questions like, "How come you didn't dress as Captain Underpants?" Really people? I wouldn't even think about it! Although I'm sure I would rock one of those tight onsie outfits. We had a great time this year. Sad to think we only have one more Halloween here!!!!

One last comment. I totally love the picture of Jake with his cape in the wind. When we got home it was so windy we thought it was the perfect opportunity to get a picture. We were right. If only we would have kept Nolan's cape on..... He was too busy eating suckers. That is pretty much all he chose for Halloween candy. I haven't trained him well.

Don't let me forget to mention my cute little alligator. Luke was what Nolan was last year. There are perks to already having costumes. Luke was stud the whole time. Didn't make a peep. Until we got home......(see next post)
