Tradition.......tradition. The last time Jake and I colored Easter eggs was about 3 years ago. We were so excited to do it with Nolan this year.
Of course we went over to our dear friends the Majors. You wouldn't believe the different kind of coloring kits we had. We had everything from sandblast to tie-died. It was so much fun to try the different kinds.Nolan didn't really care to wait for the eggs to change color so he took matters in to his own hands and starting coloring them with markers. It turned out to be a great idea and kept him occupied while we finished up our own eggs.
Lukie was a trooper, as usual. He just hung out in the bumbo the entire time. He loved to be able to watch what everyone was doing. He is so alert! But so was Nolan. I guess they get that from their daddy because I'm not that way at all.
After we were all done making our eggs Nolan went right to the toys. Actually he was already in to the toys way before we finished. Attention span of a two-year-old is very short.
All-in-all the night was a success and we ended up with some pretty cool eggs. I particularly like the one that Jake did. It says Jill + Jake. Oh, he still loves me!
We did it! The year of walking!
