{fun with Grandma Rabe}

This week has been so nice. Jake's mom Ann came out to help me get adjusted to being a mother of two. Jake started school up again on Monday so she came to save the day.
She has been wonderful. Nolan now copies the phrase, "how'd you do that" because he heard Grandma Rabe say it. He walks around everywhere and asks anything, "how'd you do that?!" Pretty cute. Nolan has also enjoyed the full attention he has received from me while Ann holds little Lugie. I don't know what I'm going to do when all my help is gone. I have been so spoiled.



Luke is doing great. I wish he would sleep a little longer through the night but I find myself being so much more patient this time around. I think having two kids does that to you. You just don't stress out as much. Thank heaven. Luke is having good tummie time and loves to be held by his Grandma and Daddy. He is so dang cute!! I can't get enough of him. He doesn't have a flaw on him. I love his big eyes and dark hair. He is such a stud!
Nolan has done wonderfully with the transition so far. He does think it's funny to straddle Luke and then sit on him when I'm not paying attention. He also thinks it's funny to jump and tackle me when I'm holding Luke on the couch. Poor Luke just takes it like a man. He is a wonderful baby. I don't think we've heard a real fuss out of him yet. Of course I have had someone around the entire time. We'll see how I do next week when reality sets in. But all is good on the Rabe front. We have the good life.
