my 6 quirks

My cute friend Manda tagged me to tell you about my 6 quirks. I have way more than 6 but here goes.....

1. When I put socks on I have to check the toe of the sock and make sure it goes on the right foot. You know, you usually have an indent on the big toe. I can't have that not match up on my foot. It will bug me the whole day. It sounds pretty crazy but I have always done that.

2. I'm the same as Manda by not finishing the last part of any drink. I just can't do it. It really grosses me out. But that is why I have a husband. He finishes everything I don't. It's wonderful!

3. I am very obsessive about a lot of things. I have to vacuum everyday. No joke. I can't stand when there is stuff on the floor. And along with that, I am always dusting and straightening all day long. I can't go to bed with the apartment messy. It has to be tidy and uncluttered, which is very hard to do in a small apartment and with an 18 month old. Someday, when we have a house, I can have all the room that I need.

4. I can't go to bed with any drawer or closet open. I get scared that something is going to come out of them. Jake thinks that I'm crazy. But when I was little I would have dreams of things coming out of my closet if I didn't close it. So every night I go around the room and make sure everything is shut completely.

5. I pretty much dance and sing to almost anything. I don't know if it goes back to my cheerleading days but I seem to always make up some dumb song and cheer to any daily tasks. For example, I will do a cheer to Jake if he is bugging me. This is how it goes, now remember it is more like a cheer, "shush, your pie hole. Shush, shush your pie hole.....Shush, your pie hole. Shush, shush your pie hole." And while doing that I am doing the North Ogden Jr. High clap. This quirk thing is making me realize how weird I am.

6. My last quirk I just realized that I do is because my husband is sitting right by me as I am typing right now and correcting all of my errors and pointed it out to me. It really bugs him when I do this next one. The quirk is, if I misspell a word that is quite a few words back, instead of putting the mouse where the word is and correcting the word, I just hit the delete button until I get back to the word that needed correcting. I don't know why I do this. Maybe it is because I like typing so much that it doesn't bother me to retype the rest of the sentence again. Whatever it may be, I do love how much it drives my husband crazy!

I could go on and on about my quirks, so thank goodness I only have to do 6. You all might think I'm a crazy person.
