A break in!

Oh man, so when my parents came to visit us a couple weeks ago, we decided to go to the zoo for one of the days. We decided to park outside on the street so we didn't have to pay. Well, I decided not to take my purse but I took my wallet and cell phone with me in the diaper bag. I hid the purse under the back seat. You totally could not see that there was anything in there because we have dark tinted windows and we were parked in the shade so you couldn't see a thing.
When we got back from the zoo my dad turns to me and lets me know that my back window is broken. I couldn't believe it! I was so mad! Someone must have been watching us when we were getting ready to leave and saw me put my purse there because they knew the exact window and didn't take anything else.
There was glass everywhere. I felt so violated! Let me tell you, I was so bitter towards Milwaukee the whole day. I kept saying, "this would never happen in Utah." My parents were amazing! They helped me through the whole thing. My dad called the insurance company and I called the police to report the break in. I don't know what I would have done if my parents weren't there. Then after the whole thing my friend Amanda came and picked me and Nolan up so that Nolan didn't have to sit in a bunch of glass. My parents drove my car home and after that my dad took it to the car wash and vacuumed the entire car out with all the glass. I love my dad so much!

It was definitely an event to remember! My parents are wonderful and we loved seeing them. Nolan especially had a great time with them. The moment they got there he wanted nothing to do with me. Thanks for taking time to visit us here in good old Milwaukee.
So we have a new window and don't have to drive around with plastic and duck tap. We now are just looking for a good place to tint it. It looks kind of funny because all of our windows are tinted but that one. Aw well, at least we have a window.
