We finally did it! We purchased a booster seat and it only costs us $20. I've become a bargain shopper in my old age. It is so nice. Now Nolan doesn't get his food all over the floor. I think our carpet is safe for now. Nolan really likes it too. He just likes to sit in it and play with his plastic silverware. Easily entertained at this age. Gotta love it.
The reason for buying the booster seat, finally, was starting solids. I was feeding him his green beans on Tuesday and he kicked the stuff right out of my hands and it went all over the carpet. Oops! So we had to take action right away. Thus, the booster seat. We didn't really have room for a cute high chair in our little apartment. But the booster seat is very convenient. Such a good purchase. Way to go mom! Oh wait, that's me. Still seams weird that I am one of those now.
